Cancellation, Suspension and Refund Policy

This policy explains cancellation and refunds for IrisOS service purchases. Cancellation of a plan is separate from deleting workspace data or an entire account.

1. Operator and scope

IrisOS, available at https://irisos.app, is operated by GRL Enterprises (we, us, or our). Our business address is 307, Grima Unnathi, Kyalasanahalli, Bengaluru – 560077, Karnataka, India.

This policy supplements the Terms of Service for the Customer’s IrisOS Subscription, meaning its selected service plan. A Billing Period means the service period expressly stated in the accepted order; it is distinct from the calendar-month AI allocation. External subscriptions connected to IrisOS are governed by their own providers.

2. Purchases, renewal and payment authorization

The current IrisOS checkout takes a one-time payment through a Razorpay order and activates the selected plan after payment verification. It does not establish automatic renewal, recurring debits or a scheduled payment-retry mandate. The purchase confirmation or accepted order must identify the price, currency, taxes and service period.

If a separate recurring arrangement is expressly offered and accepted, its renewal interval, cancellation method and payment authorization must be disclosed before acceptance. This policy does not by itself authorize recurring charges. Maintain accurate billing and contact information for purchases you make.

3. How cancellation works

An organization administrator can use Cancel Plan in workspace settings and confirm the change. The current control switches the Workspace to Basic, shown as Free, immediately and applies its limits. It does not preserve paid features until a scheduled billing-period end. Cancellation preserves the account and does not trigger a workspace-data wipe.

Contact support before cancelling if you need help exporting records or your accepted order provides continuing paid-period access. Any rights in that order and mandatory law remain applicable; the immediate-change control does not waive them. If the control fails, contact us with the workspace and relevant payment reference.

4. Upgrades and downgrades

An upgrade activates following verified payment. The current checkout does not automatically offset or prorate an earlier purchase. Switching from one paid plan to a lower paid plan is not available in the implemented flow; cancellation switches to Free. Review the displayed price and access effect before confirming. A plan change does not reset the current month’s AI usage.

5. Failed payments and retries

A failed or abandoned checkout does not activate the newly purchased plan. An authorized or pending payment may require confirmation from the payment provider before it can be treated as completed. Check its status before retrying to avoid a second purchase.

The current flow has no automatic failed-renewal retry schedule or fixed grace period. Where amounts under an accepted agreement are unpaid, we may restrict the relevant paid service subject to that agreement and applicable law. We do not treat a failed attempt to purchase an upgrade as proof that your existing service has expired.

6. Refund rule and exceptions

Under the existing commercial policy, completed payments are ordinarily non-refundable, including voluntary cancellation, unused time and unused AI allocations, and there is no general full, partial or prorated refund entitlement. This rule is subject to your accepted order, billing corrections and all mandatory legal remedies.

Report duplicate or unauthorized payments, incorrect amounts, paid services not supplied, and material service failures so they can be investigated. A confirmed billing error must be corrected as appropriate. Where law requires a refund, price reduction, cancellation, credit or compensation, that remedy is not excluded by the general no-refund rule. This policy does not create an additional discretionary refund window or an unapproved service-level credit.

Provide the payment/order reference, date, amount and a description of the issue through the contact below. Do not send full card details or authentication codes.

7. AI allocations and separately purchased credits

Monthly AI allocations are usage allowances, not money or a deposit. Unused allowance does not roll over. Cancelling applies the Free plan’s limits immediately and retains current-month usage, which may leave no available AI allowance until reset.

The reviewed service has no separately implemented AI credit top-up purchase or expiry system. Do not assume add-on credits are available, refundable, transferable or have an expiry date based on this policy. Any future credit purchase requires explicit price, allocation, expiry and cancellation terms before purchase. Duplicate deductions or incorrect usage can be reported for investigation and correction.

8. Suspension and service termination

We may suspend access for reasonably established security or fraud concerns, material misuse, legal requirements or non-payment of amounts due under an accepted agreement. Notice and an opportunity to resolve an issue will be provided where practicable; urgent security or legal action may require immediate restriction. Access may be restored when the reason is resolved, subject to technical and legal constraints.

Suspension may limit access to data and downloads. Request assistance with required records through support. Termination ends the service relationship according to the Terms or accepted order; it does not automatically prove that every database, backup or third-party copy has been erased. Any mandatory access, retention and refund rights continue.

9. Data export and deletion

Export records you need using available downloads before changing plans or terminating access, and contact support for data not covered by those tools. We do not promise unrestricted access during suspension, a fixed recovery window or an account-wide export feature.

Wipe Account Data preserves login and removes covered workspace records. Delete Entire Account is an administrator-controlled operation affecting the organization and its users. Both have retention and third-party limitations described in the Privacy Policy. Neither operation cancels your separate accounts or subscriptions with connected providers.

10. Refund processing, taxes and third-party fees

If a refund is required or approved, we will communicate its amount and processing status and use the original payment method where supported, subject to provider rules and law. Bank and provider settlement times vary. No fixed number of processing days is promised; an applicable statutory deadline takes precedence.

Taxes, currency conversion and external bank or provider fees are treated under applicable law and the relevant transaction. A deduction from a refund must have a lawful, disclosed basis. The general no-refund rule does not authorize withholding tax or fees that must legally be returned.

11. Payment disputes and chargebacks

You may contact us to investigate an error without giving up rights to dispute a payment with your bank or provider. Provide accurate information and avoid duplicate recovery of the same amount. A dispute is not automatically evidence of abuse. Any access restriction during a dispute must be proportionate to a legitimate payment, fraud or security issue and subject to applicable law.

12. Mandatory protections and governing law

Nothing in these documents excludes or restricts mandatory privacy, consumer, payment-dispute or other statutory rights. If a mandatory legal protection conflicts with a provision, that protection prevails.

Indian law governs this policy; subject to mandatory consumer forums and jurisdiction rights, competent courts and authorities in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India have jurisdiction. This does not exclude protections that apply to a customer elsewhere and cannot be waived.

13. Contact, grievances and changes

For privacy, legal, billing or service requests, email contact@irisos.app, use Get Help in IrisOS, or write to GRL Enterprises at the business address above. Include the relevant workspace and request details; do not send passwords or payment-card credentials.

Material changes will be communicated as required by the applicable agreement and law, with a prospective effective date. Where renewed consent or acceptance is required, it must be obtained before the change applies. A revised policy does not retroactively authorize a new use of personal data or impose new charges.
